Equipment
To make this fresh juice, all you need is a blender – I recommend the Blendtec or Ninja blender. These blenders have a number of blending cycles and allows you to adjust blending.
Tips to Make the Perfect Pear Juice
- Peel and core the pears before adding to blender – ensure you peel and core the pear, removing any seeds before adding to the blender to prevent any bitterness.
- Adjust the water as desired – the water content can vary in pears, therefore you may wish to add more water after blending to make the juice thinner.
- Use a good blender – it is important to use a good functioning blender to blitz the pears into smooth juice.
- Add ice – this will cool down the temperature of the juice (as the motor of the blender will warm up the drink).
- Strain the lemon juice to remove any seeds – removing seeds will prevent bitterness. You can also remove the pulp from the lemon for a smoother juice/smoothie.
