Ingredients

cinnamon stick

or ½ teaspoon ground ginger

nutmeg
or ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Optional - 3-4 whole black peppercorns
Optional - 3 green cardamom pods

(decaf or regular)

milk

Instructions
Crush the cloves, cinnamon stick, ginger, nutmeg and any optional spices in a pan.
Add water and bring to a boil, then simmer for 7-9 minutes.
Add tea bags and brew for 1-2 minutes. Pour in milk and bring to a boil for another 3 minutes.
Strain into cups and enjoy hot, optionally garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
Crush spices well

Boil the milk
