¾cupwater(plus additional ¼ cup if adding broccoli florets)
1large ice cube
Instructions
Add water to the blender followed by the strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and broccoli (if adding). Add one large cube of ice.
Secure lid firmly onto blender and blitz on high power for 1 minute, or until juice is smooth. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the water if desired – the water content varies in berries – you can always add more water for desired consistency.
Add ice – this will cool down the temperature of the juice (as the motor of the blender will warm up the drink).
Use fresh ingredients and wash just before use – for best results, make sure to select the freshest ingredients. When selecting berries, ensure they are fresh looking with no white spots and ensure the broccoli is vibrant in color and firm. Rinse the fruit and broccoli with water just before using (not in advance as this can cause the fruit and vegetables to spoil).
Pause and shake if required – if you notice the fruit and broccoli are not fully incorporating or mixing – I recommend stopping the blender and gently shaking and then resuming – this helps to ensure the blade appropriately blitzes the fruit and veg to make a smooth, fresh juice.
