How to Make Fresh Grapefruit Juice (Simple Recipe)
This post covers how to make fresh grapefruit juice using just one ingredient – grapefruits! This drink is so easy to make, packed with nutrients and requires no electric equipment!
Place one of the grapefruit halves onto the handheld/citrus juicer. Gently apply pressure and twist the grapefruit back and forth to help squeeze juice from the fruit. Continue until juice has been extracted fully.
Pour juice into pitcher/glass (through a sieve/fine mesh strainer – optional, to remove seeds/pulp).
Repeat with the other grapefruit halves. Repeat above steps with the remaining grapefruit halves until all the juice has been extracted.
Add pulp (without seeds) back into the glass if desired. For a thinner consistency, serve without pulp. Serve with or without ice and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh grapefruit and wash just before use – for best results, make sure to select the freshest grapefruits, with no bruises. Rinse the fruit and broccoli with cold water just before using.
Remove seeds – grapefruit can contain seeds. Remove seeds using a sieve before pouring into a glass and serving juice.
Pulp – if you prefer grapefruit juice with the pulp, add pulp back into the juice (without seeds). For a thinner consistency, you can remove pulp from the juice.
